3-Inch Gimbal LED Downlight

This Luxrite recessed kit fits a three-inch cut-out and delivers an all-in-one retrofit solution. The gimbal centre tilts 30 degrees and rotates 360 degrees for precise aiming. Five selectable colour temperatures range from 2700 K warm white to 5000 K bright white. A junction box with quick connectors and spring tabs enables a flush ceiling finish.

Suits remodels and new builds

Ideal for homeowners or contractors wanting adjustable accent lighting with simple wiring and a 50,000-hour rated life. Dimming from 100 to 10 percent covers most ambient needs. Not for buyers who need a non-adjustable fixed downlight or a larger aperture fixture. Also unsuitable where a gimbal mechanism is unnecessary.

5 CCT selectable gimbal

The single specification that decides fit is the five-position colour-temperature selector combined with 30-degree tilt and 360-degree rotation. If the project requires a fixed beam or a different aperture size, this model will not match. Verify the three-inch opening and gimbal requirement before ordering.

Questions about this item

Does the LR23268 kit include its own junction box and quick connectors for wiring?

Yes, each fixture comes with a junction box that has quick connectors for simple wiring, so no separate junction box is required.

Can the 30-degree tilt and 360-degree rotation of the gimbal be adjusted after the spring tabs are locked into the ceiling?

The adjustable centre eyeball retains its 30-degree tilt and 360-degree rotation after the spring tabs secure the flush finish.

How do I verify the LR23268 is operating correctly once installed?

Confirm the light dims smoothly from 100 to 10 percent and cycle through the five selectable CCTs — 2700K, 3000K, 3500K, 4000K and 5000K — to ensure each colour temperature illuminates properly.
