Apple Find My Network Tracker

The Lwyinp F 18B is a tiny GPS accessory that reports its position through Apple's Find My network. It is intended for owners of iPhones, iPads or Macs who want to monitor a vehicle, bag or other valuable without paying a subscription or inserting a SIM card.

Crowdsourced Location Limits

Location updates depend entirely on nearby Apple devices relaying the signal, so real-time accuracy drops in remote areas or underground car parks where few iPhones pass. The tracker itself has no cellular or satellite radio, so it cannot report a position when the Find My mesh is out of reach.

Compact Magnetic Form Factor

At 1.3 inches and .4 oz the unit slips behind a bumper, inside a trailer or under a seat and holds with its built-in magnet. The small battery and lack of an independent radio mean tracking stops when the cell is exhausted or when the tracker moves beyond the Apple device network.
