Questions about this item

How do I install the 0.97 mm Twister Micro-Tuff Drill in my pneumatic tool and what step is often missed?

Insert the 0.97 mm shank fully into the collet, tighten the chuck securely, and verify the drill runs true before cutting; the step often missed is confirming concentricity at operating speed.

What maintenance or replacement will the 305M0097 drill need after extended use?

The 0.97 mm cutting edges will dull first; replace the drill when hole quality degrades or feed force increases, as resharpening such a small diameter is impractical.

What limit appears first on the Twister Micro-Tuff Drill during sustained high-speed drilling?

Heat buildup in the 0.97 mm flute area is the first limit; excessive temperature softens the cutting edges and causes rapid wear or breakage.
