M.A. Ford CXDSR 1500AP Cyclone Xd Drill

The M.A. Ford CXDSR 1500AP Cyclone Xd is a solid double margin drill with a 15.00mm diameter. It belongs to the Power & Pneumatic Accessories category and is supplied new. The tool is designed for drilling operations requiring the stability of a double margin design.

Suited for precision drilling tasks needing double

This drill suits users who need the hole quality and alignment provided by a double margin configuration. It is not intended for applications requiring a different diameter or a single margin design. Buyers needing a step drill or a countersink should look elsewhere.

15.00mm diameter capacity for dedicated hole sizes

The 15.00mm diameter defines the single hole size this drill produces. It handles that specific dimension with the rigidity of the solid construction. The tool runs out when the application demands a larger, smaller, or variable hole diameter.

Questions about this item

What shank size must my drill chuck accept for the 15.00 mm Cyclone Xd 5X bit?

The bit has a 15.00 mm diameter, so the chuck must open at least that wide or use a matching collet.

Will the double-margin geometry of this 1500AP drill wander less than a standard twist bit when I use it in my older pillar drill?

The double-margin design improves guidance and reduces walk, giving straighter holes even on less rigid machines.

How can I confirm the CXDSR 1500AP is cutting correctly after I install it?

Look for consistent chip formation, steady torque load, and a hole diameter that matches the 15.00 mm spec.
