11.50 mm Cyclone Xd drill

The M.A. Ford CXDSS 1150AP is a 3X double-margin solid drill built for accurate hole-making in demanding materials. Its double-margin design improves hole straightness and surface finish during deep drilling operations. This accessory targets machinists and maintenance technicians who need reliable performance on CNC machines or rigid drill presses.

Step up from standard twist drills

Conventional twist drills tend to wander and wear quickly in tough alloys or deep holes. The Cyclone Xd geometry and double margins maintain alignment and extend tool life where ordinary drills fail. The upgrade pays off when hole tolerance and repeatability are critical to the job.

3X diameter drilling depth

The 3X length-to-diameter ratio provides comfortable reach for holes up to roughly three times the 11.50 mm diameter. Chip evacuation remains manageable within this range without peck cycles. Deeper holes exceed the flute capacity and will require a dedicated deep-hole drill or gun drill instead.
