11.70 mm double-margin drill for precision holes

The M.A. Ford CXDSS 1170AP Cyclone XD is a solid-carbide drill with a 3× diameter flute length and double-margin geometry. It targets machinists who need accurate hole placement and improved surface finish in a single pass. The 11.70 mm cutting diameter suits applications requiring that exact size without reaming.

Double-margin design improves stability and finish

Two lands guide the tool continuously, reducing vibration and wander in deep or cross-hole drilling. This geometry supports straighter holes and tighter tolerances on CNC machines or rigid manual setups. The solid carbide body resists deflection when cutting harder alloys or heat-treated steels.

California Proposition 65 warnings apply to this

The product contains a chemical known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. Users should follow standard shop safety practices such as ventilation, dust collection and personal protective equipment. No additional accessories or software are included with the drill.
