Check shank fit and workpiece material

Verify that your drill chuck or collet accepts a 10.40 mm shank before ordering. Confirm the workpiece material is compatible with high-speed steel cutting edges. The product carries a California Proposition 65 warning for chemicals known to cause cancer and reproductive harm.

Behaviour during extended drilling cycles

Under sustained load the high-speed steel body resists heat buildup better than standard bits, maintaining edge sharpness over longer runs. Flute geometry promotes steady chip evacuation to reduce binding. Performance remains consistent through repeated holes without frequent resharpening.
