Micro-Tuff Drill 0.45 mm

The M.A. Ford Twister Micro-Tuff Drill is a 0.45 mm cutting tool designed for precision drilling in demanding applications. It suits engineers and machinists who require accurate small-diameter holes in tough materials.

Micro-grain carbide construction

The drill uses micro-grain carbide that resists wear and maintains edge integrity during high-speed operation. Its shank fits standard precision collets and micro-chucks, allowing quick tool changes without specialised holders.

Replaces standard micro drills

This tool replaces conventional micro drills when longer life and tighter tolerances are needed. The upgrade is justified for batch work where reduced tool changes and consistent hole quality lower per-part cost.
