An 8-pin octal alternating relay with SPDT contacts rated 10 A at 240 V AC or 24 V DC, operating on 120 V AC with LED status indication
The Macromatic ARP120A6R is an 8-pin plug-in relay designed for alternating two loads in industrial control panels. It operates on a 120V AC coil and provides a single SPDT contact set rated at 10 A for both 240V AC and 24V DC switching. A built-in LED indicates which load is next to energise.
The relay draws less than 3 VA burden and consumes 3 VA during continuous operation, keeping coil heating low inside enclosed cabinets. Its alternating mode energises load one and load two in sequence each time the control signal cycles, preventing one device from accumulating excessive run time. The transparent housing allows visual confirmation of the LED status without removing the cover.
The 8-pin octal base and 120V AC coil voltage determine whether this relay fits an existing socket and control circuit. Builders using a different pin count, coil voltage or contact arrangement will need a different part. The selector switch for alternating mode is fixed on the unit and cannot be reprogrammed for single-load duty.

The coil consumes less than 3 VA, which equals 3 watts of heat, so it stays cool during all-day operation.
You need a standard 8-pin octal socket wired for 120 V AC coil voltage.
Yes — the SPDT contacts are rated 10 A at 240 V AC and 10 A at 24 V DC, matching those older loads.
