Cyborg V.5 Gaming Keyboard

The Cyborg V.5 is a USB 2.0 wired keyboard built for gamers who play in low-light conditions. Its stealth-red backlight shines through laser-etched keycaps so legends remain readable during night sessions. Anti-ghosting on the primary gaming cluster registers simultaneous presses without drop-outs. Dedicated media controls and macro-programmable function keys complete the feature set.

Plug-and-Play Installation

Connect the single USB 2.0 cable to any free port and the keyboard is recognised immediately by Windows. No driver is required for basic typing, backlighting or media keys. The only extra step is installing the supplied ST programming software if you want to record macros or remap the function row. A common issue is forgetting to run that software, leaving the macro keys inactive.

Check Your Setup Before Buying

Verify you have a spare USB Type-A port, as the fixed cable uses the 2.0 interface and cannot be detached. The ST configuration utility runs on Windows, so macOS or Linux users will not be able to program macros or adjust lighting profiles. Buyers who need per-key RGB colour mixing or wireless freedom should look elsewhere, because this model offers only single-colour red illumination and a tethered connection.
