Modular Gaming Mouse for Adjustable Grip

The Mad Catz R.A.T.1 is a wired gaming mouse built around a tripod chassis with a detachable sensor module and an adjustable palm rest. Its modular design lets you change the shape to suit different grip styles. Six programmable buttons and a maximum sensitivity of 3500 DPI provide a configurable control layout for competitive play.

Wired USB Connection Check

Verify that your system has an available USB port for the wired connection before ordering. No wireless pairing or battery management is required. The adjustable palm rest and modular sensor module may need a few minutes of physical tuning to match your preferred grip and hand size.

Tripod Chassis and Detachable Sensor

The lightweight tripod chassis reduces overall mass while keeping the structure rigid during fast swipes. A detachable sensor module allows quick cleaning or repositioning without tools. The adjustable palm rest locks into place for consistent comfort across long sessions, and the green finish adds a distinctive look to the setup.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the R.A.T.1 MCB437260006/06/1 and is anything else needed to use it?

The package includes the R.A.T.1 mouse only. As a wired USB mouse it draws power from the computer, so no batteries or separate power supply are required.

How do I decide which DPI setting to use on the 3500 DPI sensor?

The sensor reaches a maximum of 3500 DPI. Lower settings give finer cursor control for precision work, while higher settings move the pointer further per hand movement — choose the level that feels comfortable for your screen size and game type.

What does the 3500 DPI figure mean once the mouse is in a real machine?

At 3500 DPI the cursor travels 3500 pixels for every inch you move the mouse, so on a typical 1080p monitor a one-inch swipe can cross the entire screen width.
