Adjustable Grip Gaming Mouse

The Mad Catz R.A.T. 7 is a wired laser gaming mouse built for PC and Mac users who want physical customisation. Its aluminium chassis supports swappable palm and pinkie rests so the shape matches claw, palm or fingertip styles. Six programmable buttons and a precision aim mode give direct control in competitive titles. The matte black finish completes the professional look.

USB Wired Laser Tracking Limits

The mouse connects through a gold-plated USB wired interface that requires an available port on the host system. Its laser sensor delivers a true 6400 DPI maximum resolution for high sensitivity tracking across multiple surface types. The fixed cable removes battery management but limits range to the cord length. No wireless or Bluetooth connectivity is present on this model.

Upgrading From Basic Office Mice

This mouse replaces standard three-button optical mice that lack adjustable weight, DPI switching or ergonomic modularity. The five removable 6g weights let users tune mass for flick shots or steady tracking, a feature absent on entry-level devices. The jump is worth it when games demand rapid sensitivity changes and a tailored grip shape. Buyers needing wireless freedom or more than six buttons should look elsewhere.
