Telescoping Mirror for Tight Spots
The Mag-Mate 318 is a rectangular glass inspection mirror designed for indoor and outdoor use. Its slim profile fits into narrow gaps around machinery or vehicle components. The mirror measures 2.5 by 3.5 inches and provides a flat, non-magnified view. It suits technicians and DIY users who need visual access without disassembly.
Knurled Foam Handle and Full Rotation
The handle uses knurled foam for a secure grip in oily or wet conditions. A telescoping shaft extends the reach from a compressed length of 7 1/4 inches to a maximum of 37 inches. The mirror head adjusts through 360 degrees to angle the reflection precisely. No wheels are included with this model.
Simple Setup With One Caveat
Installation requires only pulling the shaft to the desired length and tightening the collar. The foam grip stays comfortable during extended sessions. The glass mirror can shatter if dropped onto a hard surface. Users needing magnetic retrieval or integrated lighting will need a different tool.

Questions about this item
Will the foam handle or telescoping shaft need replacement after heavy use?
The foam handle and telescoping shaft are built for standard inspection tasks; no service intervals or replacement parts are specified by the manufacturer.
What limits how far the mirror can reach during a long job?
The shaft extends to a maximum of 37 inches, so that length is the hard stop when positioning the mirror.
Does the mirror get hot or draw power if left extended all day?
No — the glass mirror and metal shaft are passive components with no electrical draw or heat generation.
