Inspection mirror with telescoping shaft

The Mag-Mate 375 is a round inspection mirror with a 3 7/8 inch glass face and a flat surface. Its shaft extends from 15 3/4 inches compressed to 32 1/2 inches fully extended. A foam grip and knurled handle provide control during use.

Replaces fixed-length inspection tools

A rigid mirror forces the user into awkward positions when checking hidden areas. The telescoping shaft and 360-degree mirror adjustment let you reach over, under and around obstacles without stretching. The slim profile slides into tight gaps where bulkier tools cannot fit.

Suits technicians and DIY inspectors

Mechanics, maintenance staff and hobbyists who need visual access to concealed spots will find the reach and angle flexibility useful. Buyers who want magnification for close detail work should look at something else. The tool has no wheels, so it is not designed for rolling under vehicles.

Questions about this item

How much clearance does the 3-7/8 inch round glass mirror need to fit into a cavity?

The mirror face is 3-7/8 inches in diameter and flat, so the opening must be slightly wider than that to pass through.

What is the correct way to extend the telescoping shaft to 32-1/2 inches without it slipping?

Pull each section out until it clicks into the detent; skipping a click leaves that joint loose and the mirror can rotate under its own weight.

When should the glass mirror be replaced instead of just cleaned?

Replace the mirror if the glass is chipped, cracked or the reflective backing has delaminated; foam handle wear does not affect the mirror itself.
