Magnetic Grinder Holder for Air Tools

The Mag-Mate GTH01 secures an air-powered grinder with a plated permanent ceramic magnet. It provides a stable resting spot during grinding tasks. The single-piece unit measures 9 1/8 in x 4 3/8 in x 6 in. It suits technicians who need quick access to their tool.

Magnet Stability Under Continuous Use

The ceramic magnet maintains its grip while the grinder vibrates during extended sessions. Heat from the air motor does not weaken the magnetic field. The plated finish resists corrosion from workshop moisture. The holder keeps the tool upright without shifting.

Simple Bench Mounting

Place the base on any ferromagnetic surface and it locks immediately. No bolts, clamps or wiring are required. The only common issue is attempting to mount it on non-magnetic stainless steel or aluminium. Ensure the surface is clean and flat for full contact.

Questions about this item

How much bench space does the 9 1/8 in x 4 3/8 in x 6 in footprint actually take up?

The magnetic base measures 9 1/8 inches long by 4 3/8 inches wide, so it occupies a rectangle of that size on the work surface.

Does the holder come with an air-powered grinder or must I supply my own?

The holder is designed for use with an air-powered grinder tool, which is not included and must be provided separately.

Will the plated permanent ceramic magnet hold securely on a painted or coated bench top?

The magnet is a plated permanent ceramic type; it grips bare ferrous metal best and its hold on painted or coated surfaces will be reduced.
