Solid Black Walnut Wrist Rest

The MageGee wrist rest is cut from solid black walnut and sized at 11.4 by 3.2 by 0.8 inches to match compact 60% and 65% keyboards. Its wooden surface stays smooth and odorless over time. The finished height of 0.8 inches raises the palm to a neutral angle for long typing or gaming sessions.

Upgrade From Gel Or Foam Pads

Unlike compressible gel or foam rests, this wood pad does not flatten with use and wipes clean with a damp cloth. The switch is worth it when a rest that holds its shape and resists heat buildup matters more than a softer initial feel. Non-slip feet keep the block stationary during rapid keystrokes.

Limits Of A Fixed Wood Block

The single-piece design cannot be adjusted for height or split-keyboard layouts. At 11.4 inches long it leaves no room for a separate numeric pad or macro column. Buyers who need a taller profile, a softer surface, or a rest that spans a full-size keyboard will need a different solution.

Questions about this item

Will the 11.4 x 3.2 inch footprint match my 60% or 65% keyboard?

Yes, the rest is sized at 11.4 by 3.2 inches and is designed to fit compact 60% and 65% keyboards.

How do I install the wrist rest so it does not slide during use?

Place it on a clean, dry desk surface; the built-in grip feet on the bottom hold it in position without adhesive.

What upkeep will the solid black walnut surface need over time?

Wipe with a slightly damp cloth when dirty; the wood will not compress and does not require oiling or replacement parts.
