Retro Typewriter Mechanical Combo

The Magegee HU-XI-201 combines a full-size mechanical keyboard with an ambidextrous gaming mouse in a black retro typewriter aesthetic. Round punk keycaps and an aluminum alloy panel give it a distinctive look for both gaming and office work. Red switches provide a linear feel suited to rapid keystrokes.

Upgrading from Membrane Keyboards

Users moving from standard membrane keyboards gain tactile feedback and 104-key anti-ghosting for reliable simultaneous inputs. The jump is worth it when you want audible clicky-clacky sound and per-key RGB rainbow backlighting with adjustable brightness and speed. Adjustable kickstand feet and suspended round keys reduce hand fatigue during long sessions.

Wired USB Connectivity Limits

The corded electric connection ensures consistent polling without battery management but restricts placement to cable reach. Mouse DPI adjusts across six preset levels from 600 to 3200 via a dedicated button. No wireless option or software customization is included, so lighting and sensitivity stay hardware-controlled.

Questions about this item

What are the exact desk dimensions the HU-XI-201 keyboard requires?

The keyboard measures 29.21 cm wide by 29.21 cm deep and stands 3.98 cm tall with its adjustable kickstand feet extended.

How do I plug in the keyboard and mouse, and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Connect both USB cables directly to the PC; the error is using a passive hub that cannot supply enough current for the rainbow backlight and mouse sensor.

When should I expect to replace the red switches or the mouse feet?

The mechanical red switches are rated for tens of millions of keystrokes, while the mouse PTFE feet typically last one to two years before glide degrades.
