Professional Video Extension Receiver

The Magenta Research Multiview II AK600DP-A receives VGA and analog video signals over a single UTP cable at distances up to 600ft or 183m. It supports resolutions up to 1920x1200 and integrates with all MultiView transmitters, receivers, distribution amplifiers and matrix switchers. A local UTP output enables daisy chaining of up to 12 compatible receivers for extended distribution chains.

Installers needing long-range analog video transport

This unit suits AV professionals extending high-resolution RGBHV and non-RGBHV signals from 1 to 600ft over existing twisted-pair infrastructure. It is not for buyers who need digital video formats such as HDMI or DisplayPort, nor for installations requiring fiber-optic transmission or signal distribution beyond the 12-receiver daisy-chain limit. The optional Akucomp II technology addresses skew compensation for demanding cable runs.

1920x1200 at 600ft over UTP

The defining specification is the ability to deliver 1920x1200 resolution across the full 600ft distance using a single category cable. Built-in distance equalization uses patent-pending Digitally Controlled Complex State Variable Filter technology to maintain image quality at any supported length. All configuration is external, simplifying setup and adjustment for 1080p and higher resolutions without opening the enclosure.
