High-end desktop for creators and gamers

This Magic Micro CX system pairs an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor with a GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It ships with 64GB of DDR5-5600 memory and a 2TB NVME solid-state drive. The build targets users who need maximum compute and graphics throughput for 4K gaming, rendering or AI workloads.

Liquid cooling and a 1200W Gold supply handle

A VIP 360mm AIO cooler with a PWM heavy-duty pump manages the 24-core CPU, while ten 120mm VIP ARGB infinity mirror fans move air through the O11 Dynamic EVO case. The Thermaltake 1200W 80 Plus Gold fully modular power supply delivers clean power to the RTX 5090 and all other components.

Premium case layout simplifies daily access

The panoramic glass chassis showcases VIP Strimer cables with a comb kit for the GPU and motherboard. A Z890-E GAMING WIFI motherboard provides Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity. Buyers who need more than 2TB of fast storage or a second graphics card should plan for a different platform.

Questions about this item

How is the VIP 360mm AIO liquid cooler installed, and what step do builders often miss?

Mount the 360 mm radiator to the case with the supplied fans, attach the pump block to the CPU using the included thermal paste, then connect the pump header and PWM fan cables to the Z890-E motherboard; the step often missed is plugging the pump into the dedicated AIO_PUMP header instead of a standard CPU_FAN header.

What maintenance will the liquid cooler and the 10 ARGB fans need later?

The AIO is a sealed unit so no coolant changes are required; plan to dust the radiator fins and the 10 infinity-mirror fans every 6–12 months, and replace any fan that develops bearing noise.

What thermal or power limit appears first during sustained loads on the Core Ultra 9 285K and RTX 5090?

The 1200 W 80 Plus Gold PSU and the 360 mm AIO are sized for the 24-core CPU at up to 5.7 GHz and the 32 GB GDDR7 GPU, so the first limit under prolonged stress is typically the coolant temperature reaching equilibrium, not the power delivery.
