What 87 magnetic cubes enable

The set contains 87 plastic cubes with magnets on every face so children can snap them together into towers, vehicles, animals or abstract shapes without the pieces falling apart. It is aimed at boys and girls aged three and up who enjoy hands-on construction play.

Sustained play and structural stability

Because the magnets hold firmly on all sides, structures stay intact even when a child adds more layers or moves the model around during an extended building session. The ABS plastic resists impact so repeated assembly and disassembly does not weaken the connections or crack the corners.

Safety, noise and power in normal use

The blocks are made from non-toxic ABS with smooth rounded edges and contain no batteries or electronic parts, so they draw no power and produce no noise during play. The material is easy to wipe clean and designed for worry-free daily use by young children.

Questions about this item

Do the 87 magnetic cubes generate any heat or noise when children play with them all day?

No, the blocks are passive plastic pieces with built-in magnets; they have no motor, battery or electronics, so they stay silent and at room temperature during extended play.

Does the 87-piece set need any extra tools, baseplates or batteries before a child can start building?

Nothing extra is required; the cubes connect magnet-to-magnet on all sides straight from the box, and no power source or accessory is needed.

Can these 87 cubes connect with older Desire Deluxe magnetic sets the family already owns?

Yes, the manufacturer states the cubes are compatible with other Desire Deluxe magnetic building sets, so they snap together with earlier pieces.
