Questions about this item

Will the C980 charge the 1100 mAh AAA batteries at the same 1.0A default current it uses for AA cells?

No, the default charge current for AAA is 0.5A while AA uses 1.0A, and the charger applies the correct rate automatically per slot.

How can I confirm the charger is operating in Turbo mode and delivering the 2.0A AA or 1.0A AAA rate?

Select Turbo Mode on the charger; the microprocessor then drives 2.0A for AA or 1.0A for AAA, completing a charge in about 60 minutes.

Does the package include the 16 AccuLoop-X AAA batteries ready to use, or must they be purchased separately?

The box contains the C980 charger plus 16 pre-charged AAA AccuLoop-X NiMH batteries (1100 mAh) on four cards of four, so nothing extra is needed.
