Eight-slot smart charger with 16 AAA NiMH batteries

The Powerex MH-C800S charges up to eight AAA cells at once and ships with sixteen AccuPower Micro batteries rated at 1200 mAh each. It suits households or small offices that cycle many NiMH cells and want a single unit for both charging and storage.

Sustained charging at 1000 mA per slot

The charger delivers a steady 1.0 A output at 18 V across all slots and accepts 100-240 V AC at 50/60 Hz with a 0.5 A draw. This fixed rate keeps each cell at a consistent current through the full cycle rather than tapering after a short burst.

Simple drop-in insertion

Each of the eight bays operates independently so a single faulty cell does not halt the rest. The main caution is ensuring every battery makes firm contact; loose placement can leave a slot showing no progress while others finish normally.

Questions about this item

Does the MH-C800S charger run hot or make noise when all eight slots charge at 1000 mA continuously?

The charger accepts 100-240 V input at 0.5 A and delivers 18 V at 1.0 A output, so heat and fan noise stay low even during full-load sessions.

What power source must I already have to run the MH-C800S out of the box?

A standard mains socket supplying 100-240 V at 50/60 Hz is all that is required; the unit includes its own 18 V 1.0 A power supply.

Can I mix the included 1200 mAh AAA Accupower cells with older lower-capacity NiMH AAA batteries in the same charge cycle?

Yes, the MH-C800S manages each of its eight slots independently, so cells of different capacities or ages charge safely together.
