Eight-Slot Smart Charger

The Powerex MH-C800S charges up to eight AAA or AA cells simultaneously. It accepts a 100-240V input at 0.5A for worldwide use and delivers an 18V 1.0A output. Each slot operates independently with a 1000mAh charge rate so mixed capacities can be handled in one session. The bundle includes eight AccuPower AAA NiMH batteries rated at 1200 mAh and 1.2 Volt.

Households with many low-drain devices

Families powering remotes, clocks, toys or wireless keyboards will appreciate the eight ready-to-use cells and the ability to recharge all of them at once. Users who only need one or two batteries at a time may find the eight-slot capacity unnecessary. The charger is not suited for lithium-ion or NiCd chemistries and cannot charge 9V or C/D sized cells.

Pre-charged cells eliminate first-cycle wait

The eight AccuPower AAA batteries arrive charged so devices work immediately after unpacking. Their 1200 mAh capacity provides reliable runtime for everyday electronics. Because the charger manages each slot separately, users can top up only the depleted cells while leaving the rest in place. No additional software or accessories are included beyond the charger and the two four-cell cards.

Questions about this item

Does the MH-C800S charger need any extra cables to run from a UK mains socket?

The charger accepts 100-240V 50/60Hz input so it works on UK mains voltage; only a suitable plug adapter or lead is required.

Can I leave my older 800 mAh AAA NiMH cells in the same charging session as the new 1200 mAh AccuPower batteries?

Each of the eight slots charges independently, so mixed-capacity cells can be charged together without affecting each other.

How do I confirm the charger has finished a full charge cycle on the 1200 mAh cells?

The smart charger terminates each slot automatically when the cell reaches full charge, indicated by the per-slot status display.
