Eight-bay charger with LCD and 16 AAA cells

The MH-C808M charges one to eight AAA, AA, C or D NiCd and NiMH cells at once. A white-backlit LCD shows the status of every bay. The bundle adds 16 AccuPower AAA NiMH cells rated at 1200 mAh and 1.2 V.

Users wanting simultaneous multi-size charging

Suits households or workshops that cycle many cells of mixed sizes and want defective-cell detection and deep conditioning. Not for buyers who only charge one or two cells at a time or who need lithium-ion or LiFePO4 support.

Eight independent bays

Each bay runs under microprocessor control with negative delta-V cut-off and a low-temperature algorithm. Rapid mode delivers up to 700 mA for AAA and 2000 mA for AA, C or D; soft mode halves those currents. Worldwide 100-240 VAC input with CE certification.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else to start charging?

The box includes the MH-C808M charger, a 100-240 VAC worldwide AC adapter, and 16 AAA AccuPower NiMH batteries rated at 1200 mAh. No extra items are required to begin charging.

Should I choose the rapid or soft charge mode for the included 1200 mAh AAA cells?

For the 1200 mAh AAA batteries, rapid mode charges at 700 mAh and takes roughly .5 to 2 hours, while soft mode charges at 350 mAh for a gentler cycle. Select rapid when you need cells ready quickly; choose soft to maximise long-term cycle life.

How long will a full charge take for the supplied 1200 mAh AAA batteries in rapid mode?

In rapid mode the charger delivers 700 mAh to AAA cells, so the included 1200 mAh batteries reach full charge in approximately .5 to 2 hours depending on their starting state.
