Eight AA and AAA NiMH cells deliver 2700 mAh and 1000 mAh capacities with up to 75 % and 85 % charge retention after long storage

  • Battery typeAA & AAA Ni-MH
  • AA cells deliver 2700 mAh for longer run times
  • AAA cells provide 1000 mAh capacity in a compact size
  • NiMH chemistry enables fast and efficient full charges
  • Low-self-discharge design retains up to 75 % charge for AA and 85 % for AAA during storage
  • Improved low-temperature performance keeps devices powered in cold conditions

Ready-to-use NiMH combo

This pack supplies four AA cells rated at 2700 mAh and four AAA cells rated at 1000 mAh, all using nickel-metal-hydride chemistry. The cells arrive pre-charged and are intended for devices that accept standard cylindrical rechargeable batteries.

Check charger and device fit

Verify that your charger supports NiMH chemistry and can handle both AA and AAA sizes simultaneously. Confirm that the equipment you plan to power is designed for 1.2 V nominal voltage rather than primary alkaline cells.

Steady output over repeated cycles

The AA cells retain up to 75 % of their charge after extended storage, while the AAA cells retain up to 85 %. Both sizes are built for fast, efficient recharging and maintain consistent performance through many charge-discharge cycles.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box with the Powerex AA and AAA rechargeable battery combo?

The pack contains four AA cells rated at 2700 mAh, four AAA cells rated at 1000 mAh, and one storage case for the AA batteries. No charger is included.

How do I decide between the 2700 mAh AA cells and the 1000 mAh AAA cells in this pack?

Both sizes are supplied together; use the AA cells in devices that take AA batteries and the AAA cells in devices that take AAA batteries. They are not interchangeable.

What does the 75 % and 85 % charge-retention figures mean after the batteries have been stored?

After extended storage the AA cells retain up to 75 % of their charge and the AAA cells retain up to 85 %, so both sizes are ready to use with minimal recharging.
