Six rectangular 9V NiMH batteries in a row

Maha Energy Corp.

Maha Energy Corp. Powerex 9V NiMH 300mAh 6-Pack

SKU CH-DEPP-D19NV

Six 9 V NiMH cells deliver 300 mAh each, arrive pre-charged and hold capacity for long storage

  • Battery type9 V
  • Ready to use straight from the pack
  • 300 mAh NiMH cells deliver reliable 8.4 V power
  • No memory effect keeps capacity stable over many cycles
  • Low self-discharge holds near-full charge during storage
  • Works with MH-C1090F 10-bank or MH-C490F Stealth chargers

Six-pack NiMH 9 V cells

This six-pack supplies 300 mAh NiMH cells rated at 8.4 V for devices that take a 9 V format. The chemistry avoids memory effect so partial top-ups do not reduce usable capacity. They arrive precharged and hold a near-full charge during extended storage. Each cell fits standard 9 V compartments in compatible equipment.

Replaces single-use 9 V batteries

The pack replaces disposable 9 V alkalines in gear that can accept the lower nominal voltage of NiMH. The jump is worth it when the device is used often enough to recoup the higher upfront cost through repeated recharges. Infrequently used safety or backup units that sit for years are better served by primary cells with longer shelf voltage stability.

Charger compatibility limits

Fast, efficient full charges require a charger designed for 9 V NiMH such as the Powerex MH-C1090F 10-bank or MH-C490F Stealth models. Using an incompatible charger can terminate early or overheat the cells, reducing cycle life. The 300 mAh capacity also limits runtime in high-drain applications compared with higher-capacity chemistries.

Questions about this item

What charger models are compatible with these 9V 300mAh NiMH cells?

They work with the Powerex MH-C1090F 10-bank charger and the MH-C490F Stealth charger.

How should I charge the pack for the first time to avoid the common mistake of partial charging?

Place all six cells in a compatible Powerex charger and run a full charge cycle; the cells arrive precharged but benefit from a complete initial charge.

How long will the batteries hold their charge if I store them between uses?

The NiMH chemistry retains a near-full charge during extended storage, so the pack is ready when you need it.
