Desk-Wide Surface

The MAINGEAR "Good Fortune" mouse mat spans 35 inches by 15.5 inches, covering a broad section of a desk so both keyboard and mouse sit on the same pad. Its 4.25mm thickness adds a slight cushion without raising the wrist excessively. The design blends Japanese-inspired artwork with a modern palette for a distinctive look. It suits gamers and creators who want a unified, low-friction workspace.

Cloth Surface Limits

The smooth cloth top provides consistent, low-friction tracking for optical and laser sensors but lacks the hard, rigid feel of plastic or glass pads that some competitive players prefer. Stitched edges resist fraying, yet the fabric will still show wear faster than a hard surface under heavy daily swipes. The rubber base grips well on clean, flat desks but can shift on polished glass or heavily textured tops. It is not waterproof, so liquid spills will soak into the material.

Capacity and Headroom

The generous dimensions give ample room for wide, low-sensitivity mouse sweeps and a full-size keyboard without overhang. Thick 4.25mm foam absorbs minor desk imperfections and reduces wrist pressure during long sessions. The pad handles fast flicks and precise micro-adjustments equally well within its surface area. It runs out of space only when a user needs multiple monitors' worth of mouse travel or prefers a hard, non-compressible base for maximum rigidity.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 35" x 15.5" mat or a smaller size for my desk?

The 35" x 15.5" mat covers a wide area so both mouse and keyboard sit on the same surface, while a smaller pad would only fit the mouse.

How does the 4.25mm thickness feel during long gaming sessions?

At 4.25mm the pad gives a firm but cushioned base that reduces wrist pressure without feeling spongy during extended play.

Will the non-slip rubber backing keep the mat from sliding on a glass desk?

The rubber backing grips smooth surfaces like glass firmly, so the mat stays locked in place even during fast swipes.
