Frame size and purpose

This Mainstays poster frame holds artwork up to 18 x 24 inches. The black plastic finish suits bedrooms, offices, dorms and hallways. A clear plastic front protects prints while keeping them visible. The hard backing supports each piece for a tidy presentation.

Depth and daily impact

Overall frame depth is .37 inches, so the profile stays close to the wall. Lightweight acrylic construction adds minimal load to standard hanging hardware. The clear glazing resists dust and fingerprints during normal handling. No power or thermal considerations apply to this passive display product.

Long-term wall mounting

The rigid backing keeps posters flat over extended periods without bowing. Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene frame material maintains its shape in typical indoor conditions. Clear front continues to shield artwork from fading and surface damage. Single-opening design simplifies swapping prints whenever the display changes.

Questions about this item

How do I mount the 18 x 24 frame on the wall and what step is often missed?

Use the built-in hangers on the hard backing; the step people skip is checking that both hangers are level before driving any screws or nails.

What part of the 18 x 24 frame will need replacement first?

The clear plastic glazing scratches easily, so it is the component most likely to need replacing over time.

What limit appears first when the 18 x 24 frame hangs in direct sunlight?

The acrylonitrile butadiene styrene frame can warp or discolour under sustained UV exposure, which shows up before any other issue.
