Mainstays MDH-0103JB Humidifier Wick Filter 3 Pack

Replacement wick filters for Mainstays humidifiers

This three-pack supplies MDH-0103JB wicking filters designed to fit the Mainstays MDH-0103JB humidifier. Each filter uses multi-layer mesh and an aluminum foil layer to trap hardness minerals and reduce white dust. The PP absorbent reinforced mesh paper construction supports consistent moisture output. Filters install without tools for straightforward maintenance.

Hardness minerals are trapped rather than dispersed

The wicking material filters dissolved minerals from water so they stay in the filter instead of becoming airborne powder. Using distilled water extends the useful life of each cartridge. Performance declines as mineral buildup increases, so regular changes keep output steady. The design does not add any active purification beyond mineral capture.

Three filters cover roughly six months of use

The manufacturer suggests replacing a filter every one to two months depending on water quality and runtime. A pack of three therefore provides about half a year of operation before another purchase is needed. Households with very hard water or continuous operation will reach the limit sooner. Buyers who want longer intervals between changes should look elsewhere.
