Scale and subject

This is a brand-new 1:12 scale diecast model of the 2013 Harley-Davidson XL 1200V Seventy Two in green, produced by Maisto. The replica measures approximately 8 inches long, 4.25 inches high and 1.75 inches wide. Wheels roll and steer, and the body combines die-cast metal with plastic parts. It arrives in a sealed manufacturer box.

Collector focus and play limits

The model suits adult collectors who want a detailed display piece of a specific Seventy Two variant at 1:12 scale. Rolling wheels add a tactile element, but the construction is not designed for rough handling or outdoor play. Buyers looking for a toy to be used heavily by children, or who need a different scale to match an existing collection, should consider other options.

Decisive specification

The 1:12 scale fixes the model's physical footprint at roughly 8 by 1.75 inches, determining whether it fits your display shelf or matches other models you own. No other dimension or feature overrides this single measurement for fit purposes.

Questions about this item

What are the exact length, width and height measurements of the 1/12 scale model so I can size a display shelf?

The model measures 8 inches long, 1.75 inches wide and 4.25 inches high, so a shelf at least that deep and tall will fit it.

How do I set up the rolling wheels and steerable front fork without forcing the die-cast parts?

Gently align the front fork with the frame and press the axle pins straight in; the wheels then roll and the handlebars turn freely without tools.

Which parts might need touch-up or replacement after long-term display?

The green paint on the metal body and the small plastic details such as mirrors or levers are the only items that could chip or loosen over time.
