Roll-Top 1000D Cordura Backpack

The Manhattan Portage Prospect Ver.2 is a roll-top backpack built from 1000D Cordura Classic Fabric. It suits commuters and students who need a water-resistant bag with a padded laptop sleeve and reflective safety strip. The secure buckle closure and side-access zipper keep gear protected while allowing quick retrieval. Grey colourway works in professional and casual settings.

Sustained Daily Carry

Padded back straps distribute weight evenly during long walks or transit rides. The waist stabilizer adds extra support when the main compartment is fully loaded. Twin side pockets hold bottles or umbrellas secured by safety belts, preventing spills or loss while moving. Water-resistant fabric maintains protection through repeated exposure to rain or splashes.

Upgrade From Basic Packs

This model replaces simple daypacks that lack a roll-top seal, reflective strip or dedicated laptop padding. The jump is worth it for riders and walkers who need weather resistance and night visibility in one bag. Buyers who want a hard-shell case or a wheeled trolley will not find those features here.

Questions about this item

Does the 1000D CORDURA fabric trap heat against my back during all-day wear?

Padded back straps create an air gap between the fabric and your body to reduce heat buildup.

What laptop size fits the padded compartment so the roll-top still closes?

The spacious main compartment holds most common laptops; the roll-top and buckle secure the opening regardless of exact device thickness.

Can I attach the waist stabilizer to the side bottle holders on an older Manhattan Portage pack?

The waist stabilizer is designed for this Ver.2 frame; the twin side holders on other models may not share the same attachment points.
