Manhattan Portage Redux Messenger Bag 15

The Redux Messenger Bag is a laptop case built for daily commuters and professionals who need organized carry for a 15 inch device. It uses 500D CORDURA Konbu fabric with a water-repellent coating that is 20-60% lighter than waxed canvas while maintaining military-grade durability. The bright red 210D ripstop nylon lining adds high-visibility contrast inside every pocket. This bag suits users who want a single, structured messenger with dedicated laptop protection.

Magnetic V-buckles and Fidlock fastener

The main compartment closes with magnetic V-buckles that have pull tabs for quick one-handed access, while the padded laptop sleeve secures with a Fidlock fastener. A fully adjustable shoulder strap features a quick-release buckle and a padded top-carry handle offers a second grab point. The design integrates with rolling luggage handles for transit. Users who prefer traditional flap buckles or a fixed strap length may find the magnetic hardware unfamiliar at first.

13 pockets and 15 inch laptop sleeve

The bag provides 13 pockets and compartments in total, including two exterior bottle pockets, two interior bottle pockets, a large external pocket with a waterproof zipper, a large mouth drop pocket with a hidden magnet, and a hidden two-way zippered compartment beneath the lid. The rear padded sleeve fits laptops up to 15 inches. Buyers who need capacity beyond 13 compartments or a sleeve for larger devices should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the Fidlock fastener on the laptop compartment is securing my 15 inch device correctly?

After placing the laptop in the padded rear sleeve, engage the Fidlock fastener; it locks magnetically with an audible click and holds the flap firmly so the computer cannot slide out when the bag is tilted.

Which items are included with the Redux Messenger Bag and what must I purchase separately?

The bag ships with the padded top-carry handle, fully adjustable shoulder strap, magnetic V-buckles, integrated 15 inch laptop sleeve and 13 pockets built in; no extra accessories are bundled, so a rain cover or organiser inserts would be separate purchases.

Which version of the Redux Messenger Bag should I choose for a 15 inch laptop and maximum pocket count?

This single model already fits up to a 15 inch laptop and provides exactly 13 pockets and compartments, so no alternative capacity or version selection is required.
