Manhattan Portage Second Avenue Briefcase 15

This briefcase fits laptops up to 15 inches inside a padded compartment. It is built from 1000D CORDURA® Classic fabric for daily commuting or business travel. The design offers two carry options: briefcase handles or a removable cross-body strap. A magnetic snap pocket on the back panel provides quick access to essentials.

Carry options and expansion limits

The removable shoulder strap includes a rubberized pad for comfort during longer journeys. Side zippers open to increase pocket capacity when extra space is needed. Reversed YKK® zippers add water resistance but are not rated for full submersion. The briefcase structure relies on fabric flexibility rather than a rigid frame.

Check laptop size and carry preference

Verify that your device does not exceed the 15-inch compartment limit before ordering. Consider whether you prefer the fixed handles or the detachable strap for your typical commute. The magnetic snap pocket suits flat items but may not secure bulky objects. Reflective tape accents assist visibility in low light.

Questions about this item

Should I choose this briefcase for a 15-inch laptop or look for a different size?

The padded compartment is designed to fit up to a 15-inch laptop, so it matches that screen size directly.

How much protection does the padded laptop compartment actually give inside a real bag?

The interior padding cushions the device while the reversed YKK zipper and 1000D CORDURA Classic fabric add water resistance around it.

What does the removable shoulder strap add for daily carry?

It converts the briefcase into a cross-body bag with a rubberised pad, and the open back panel pocket uses a magnetic snap for quick access.
