15-Inch Laptop Briefcase

The Manhattan Portage Second Avenue Briefcase is a navy laptop case built from 1000D CORDURA® Classic fabric. It holds a 15-inch laptop in a padded compartment and offers two carry styles: hand-held briefcase or cross-body messenger. A removable shoulder strap with a rubberised pad and reversed YKK® zippers add comfort and water resistance for daily transit.

Expandable Storage Over Fixed Cases

Side zippers open to increase pocket capacity when you need more room for documents or accessories. The vertical front pocket and open back panel pocket with magnetic snap give quick access to items you reach for often, replacing the limited organisation of a standard sleeve or non-expandable briefcase.

Commuters Needing Flexible Carry

This suits professionals who switch between hand carry and shoulder carry and want reflective tape accents for low-light visibility. Buyers who want more storage than the expandable pockets provide or who need a dedicated tablet sleeve should look at larger bags or backpacks with additional compartments.

Questions about this item

What laptop size does the padded compartment of the Second Avenue Briefcase accommodate?

The padded laptop compartment fits devices up to 15 inches, securing them inside the 1000D CORDURA® Classic fabric shell.

How do you attach the cross-body carry option, and what step is often missed?

Clip the removable shoulder strap onto the bag's D-rings and slide the rubberized pad onto the strap; the pad must be threaded on before clipping, or it will not stay in place.

Which part of the bag will need replacement first with daily commuting use?

The removable shoulder strap and its rubberized pad absorb the most wear; the reversed YKK® zipper and magnetic snap on the back panel are rated for longer cycles.
