Plug-and-Play USB-C Lavalier

The Maono UL11 is a corded condenser lapel microphone that connects directly to devices with a USB-C port. It is aimed at creators who record interviews, podcasts, vlogs or live streams on smartphones, tablets and computers without needing an audio interface or adapter.

Simple Setup With Known USB Issues

Installation is plug-and-play on supported hardware, but the microphone will not work with Android phones that only have Micro USB, laptops limited to USB-A ports, or iPhone models 14, 13 and earlier that lack USB-C. Windows users may see "Insufficient USB controller resources" errors; moving the mic to a USB 2.0 port or the same hub as the keyboard and mouse usually resolves it.

For USB-C Mobile Creators Only

This mic suits anyone recording on a modern USB-C phone, tablet or computer who wants 192kHz 24-bit capture without extra gear. Buyers who need wireless freedom, XLR connectivity, or compatibility with older Lightning or Micro USB devices should look at a different solution.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the 192 kHz 24-bit recording is active after plugging the UL11 into my iPhone 15?

The UL11 is plug-and-play with no drivers; open your recording app, check its input settings and verify the sample rate shows 192 kHz and bit depth 24-bit while monitoring the live level meter.

What accessories are included with the UL11 and what must I buy separately?

The box contains the 78 in USB-C microphone, an aluminium lapel clip, a foam windscreen and a user manual; no extra cables or adapters are required for USB-C devices.

Should I choose the UL11 for an iPhone 14 or an Android phone with Micro USB?

The UL11 only works with USB-C ports, so it is incompatible with iPhone 14, iPhone 13 and any Android phone that uses Micro USB.
