This Marchez Vous cable connects a 12 Gbps host bus adapter or RAID controller with a 36 pin SFF-8643 port to four SATA drives. The 1.6ft breakout design uses 30 AWG flat ribbon wire under acetate cloth tape and a woven mesh sheath. Low profile SATA connectors feature stainless steel latches and P1 to P4 markers for identification. It supports 2.5 and 3.5 inch SATA I, II, III hard drives.

Woven sheath and marked connectors

The woven mesh covers half the cable length to assist routing inside a chassis without adding rigidity. Acetate cloth tape provides strain relief on the slim ribbon cables.
