The Marks USA 21AC5LHR is an antique brass finished mortise lockset designed for left hand reverse door openings. It suits residential and light commercial entries where a traditional appearance and keyed operation on both sides are required. The set includes two solid brass cylinders and two keys for immediate installation.

Replaces Surface Rim Locks On Steel Gates

This mortise unit upgrades older surface mounted hardware by recessing the mechanism into the door edge for a cleaner profile and stronger engagement. The jump is worth it when the door thickness falls between 1-3/8" and 1-3/4" and the frame can accommodate a 1" x 7-1/8" face plate with a 2-1/2" backset. It also fits right hand doors thanks to a reversible design.

Handles Standard Entry Doors With 1" Deadbolt Throw

The 1" deadbolt provides solid resistance against forced entry on wood or steel doors up to 1-3/4" thick. Through bolted trim and spring loaded self adjusting spindles keep the knobs secure through repeated use. The double cylinder function requires a key on the interior side, so it is not suited for openings where quick egress without a key is a life safety requirement.
