Euro Profile Double Cylinder

This Marks USA 2622/26D is a euro profile double cylinder door lock finished in satin chrome US26D. It is built for commercial use and fits European style mortise locks. The cylinder comes with an interior turn knob and two keys for immediate installation.

Five pin tumbler and 360 degree rotation

Security relies on a high precision five pin tumbler system using nickel silver and stainless steel pins. The cylinder operates with a full 360 degree rotation from either the key or the thumbturn. Brass body and plug with steel cam and cogwheel provide the mechanical durability expected in commercial hardware.

Check mortise lock compatibility and keying needs

Verify that your existing mortise lock or lock case accepts a euro profile cylinder with a 2-3/8 inch body length. This model is keyed different and matches the Marks USA 2750 security, storm and screen doors. Buyers who need keyed alike cylinders or a different body length should look for an alternative configuration.

Questions about this item

How do I choose between the 2622/26D and the 2750 model?

The 2622/26D is the euro cylinder itself; the 2750 is the security, storm or screen door it is designed to fit. Select the cylinder if you already have a compatible mortise lock case.

What does the 360-degree rotation mean when the cylinder is installed?

The key or interior thumbturn rotates a full circle to throw or retract the bolt, allowing smooth operation in European-style mortise locks.

What does the euro profile standard cap in practice?

The euro profile defines the cylinder shape and cam interface, so this brass-bodied, steel-cam cylinder fits any lock case cut for that standard.
