The Marks USA 8A/3 is a Grade 2 mortise lock body designed for handleset installations. It provides an entrance function with keyed-different cylinders and a left-hand orientation. The polished brass finish suits period or traditional hardware schemes. This unit is the lock body only and requires a compatible handleset trim to operate.

Polished brass finish and 16 mounting compatibility

The polished brass face plate measures 1-1/16 inches by 7-5/8 inches and includes a 1-inch deadbolt with latch and rocker. A 2-1/2-inch backset fits standard mortise preparations. The body works with sixteen Marks handleset styles including Crown, Towne, Grand Towne and several discontinued ranges such as Cambridge and Georgetown, allowing retrofit on existing trim.
