Brass finish and mortise mounting

The polished brass surface resists wear and matches traditional hardware trim. Mortise mounting requires a pocket cut into the door edge, so installation suits doors already prepared for mortise hardware. Buyers needing a surface mounted or cylindrical lockset cannot use this kit.
