Soft toy for babies and toddlers

The Mary Meyer Putty Nursery Elephant is an ultra-soft stuffed animal designed for newborns and young children. Its neutral tones suit modern nursery décor and it makes a gentle companion for everyday cuddles. The toy is safety-focused with embroidered eyes and a weighted bum that helps it sit upright. It is intended as a huggable gift for baby showers, birthdays or any occasion.

Eleven-inch size with weighted base

At 11 inches tall the elephant offers enough presence for a toddler to hold and carry without being cumbersome. The weighted bum and feet keep it stable on a shelf or changing table while the soft white inner ears add tactile variety. Machine washing on a cold gentle cycle followed by air drying keeps the fabric fresh for daily use. It is not suited for children who need a larger doll for role-play or for collectors seeking a display-scale figure.

Fits nursery collections and gift sets

The elephant coordinates with other Putty Nursery soft toys and character blankets so families can build a matching set. No batteries, assembly or special care beyond the gentle wash cycle are required. Its compact footprint leaves room on the cot or play mat for additional plush friends. Buyers who need electronic features, sound modules or a specific character licence should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How does the 11-inch Putty Nursery Elephant fit alongside other soft toys already in the cot?

At 11 inches it sits comfortably with smaller comforters and larger character blankets, and its neutral hues match the rest of the Putty Nursery range without clashing.

What should I check to confirm the elephant is ready for my baby after unpacking?

Verify the embroidered eyes are secure, the weighted bum and feet give a gentle stability, and the ultra-soft fabric feels consistent all over with no loose threads.

Which items come in the package and is anything else needed before first use?

The elephant itself is the only item supplied; it arrives ready to cuddle and can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle then air dried if you prefer to freshen it first.
