Soft tactile comfort for young children

The Mary Meyer Putty Shadow Bear is a 17-inch plush toy made from exceptionally soft, etched light grey fabric. Its gentle texture invites little fingers to explore and hold. A white fabric face with a brown nose and rounded ears gives it a calm, friendly expression. This medium-sized bear is designed for both playtime adventures and quiet moments of comfort.

Retains softness through repeated washing

The toy is machine washable on a cold, gentle cycle and should be air dried. This construction helps the plush maintain its super-soft feel and structural integrity after frequent cleaning. It is manufactured to meet or exceed US safety requirements, supporting durable everyday use. The neutral grey hue resists showing minor wear from regular handling.

Steps up from smaller or less washable plush toys

The 17-inch standing height and approximately 13-inch seated height provide a substantial huggable presence that smaller animals cannot match. Buyers who need a companion that withstands regular machine washing without losing softness will find this an upgrade. It also coordinates with other items in the Putty collection for a cohesive nursery or playroom theme.
