Soft cloth book for babies

The Mary Meyer Lil Hero cloth book measures six by six inches and contains eight fabric pages. A Velcro closure keeps the book shut between readings and a soft fabric applique decorates the cover. Crinkle paper and a built-in squeaker provide auditory feedback when pages are squeezed or bent.

Suits newborns and infants who enjoy tactile play

The lightweight design is easy for small hands to grasp and the machine-washable construction handles regular cleaning. Babies who have outgrown fabric books or children who prefer rigid board pages will not find this format engaging.

Crinkle paper and squeaker sensory features

Every page includes crinkle material that rustles when touched and a squeaker that sounds under pressure. These elements encourage cause-and-effect exploration during storytime or travel in a car seat or stroller.

Questions about this item

Is the 6 x 6 inch size with eight pages right for a newborn?

The lightweight cloth book measures 6 x 6 inches and has eight pages, making it easy for small hands to hold and turn during storytime or in a car seat.

What sounds does the crinkle paper and squeaker actually make when baby plays with it?

Bending or squeezing the soft pages produces a gentle crinkle noise and a soft squeak, giving tactile and auditory feedback without being loud.

How does the Velcro closure hold up to repeated opening and machine washing?

The Velcro strip keeps the book closed during travel and withstands cold gentle-cycle washes; air drying preserves the fastener and the fabric appliqué.
