Tan Dancing Dachshund plush

The Mary Meyer Dancing Dachshund is a 10-inch tan plush toy designed for babies and young children. Its mix of textured fabrics invites tactile exploration during play or quiet time. The toy stands on short legs and fits easily in a child's arms or lap. It serves as a comforting companion for everyday moments.

Capacity and headroom

At 10 inches from nose to tail the plush is sized for small hands to hold and carry without strain. The soft construction and embroidered details make it suitable for cuddling and light play. It is not built for rough outdoor use or heavy pulling that could stress the stitched features. Machine washing on a gentle cold cycle keeps it clean for regular indoor use.

Safety standards

The toy is manufactured to meet or exceed US safety requirements for children's products. Embroidered eyes and securely attached fabrics reduce loose-part hazards during normal handling. Air drying after washing preserves the plush texture and structural integrity. This compliance makes it appropriate for gifting to infants and toddlers.

Questions about this item

Will the 10-inch size sit well next to the smaller plush animals already in the nursery?

At 10 inches from nose to tail it is larger than most mini plush toys, so it becomes a natural focal point without overwhelming a shelf of smaller companions.

How can I check the embroidered eyes and printed bandana are secure after the first wash?

After a cold gentle-cycle wash and air dry, inspect the embroidered eyes and printed bandana scarf — they should remain firmly attached with no loose threads.

Does the box include the corduroy chest panel and bandana scarf, or are they separate accessories?

The corduroy chest and tummy plus the printed bandana scarf are stitched onto the dachshund; nothing extra needs to be purchased.
