Soft Cloth Book for Babies

The Mary Meyer Aroar-a-Saurus Dino book is a lightweight 6 x 6-inch cloth book with eight bendable pages designed for infant handling. It features a Velcro closure and a soft fabric applique on the cover. The book is machine washable on a gentle cycle and meets US safety standards for baby products.

Suited for Sensory Play

This book suits caregivers who want a washable, portable toy that encourages early literacy and sensory exploration through touch and sound. It is not intended for children who have moved past the mouthing and grasping stage or for buyers looking for a traditional paper board book with printed narratives.

Crinkle Paper and Squeaker Effects

The integrated crinkle paper and internal squeaker provide auditory feedback when pages are squeezed or bent, reinforcing cause-and-effect learning during play. The signature Taggies looped ribbons offer tactile variety for grasping and rubbing. The coordinating Velcro strap keeps the book shut for travel and attaches to car seats or strollers.

Questions about this item

Does the 6-inch cloth book need any batteries for the squeaker to work?

No, the built-in squeaker and crinkle paper make sound mechanically when squeezed, so no batteries or power source are required.

Can the Velcro closure on this 6-inch book snag the tags on older Taggies blankets?

The closure uses a standard hook-and-loop strip; it may catch loose Taggies loops, so fasten the book away from other Taggies items during storage.

How can I confirm the crinkle paper inside the 8 pages is still intact after the first wash?

After air-drying, gently flex each page — a clear crackling sound from every spread means the crinkle layer survived the wash cycle.
