Soft Rattle with Teether Ring

The Mary Meyer Dancing Dachshund is a 6-inch plush toy that combines an internal rattle with an external silicone teether ring. It is designed for infants who need both auditory stimulation and gum relief during early development. The tan puppy features embroidered eyes and a corduroy tummy for tactile variety.

Suited for sensory play and teething comfort

This toy suits caregivers who want a single item that entertains and soothes a baby at home or while travelling. It is not for families who prefer toys without any sound component or who need a teether that can be chilled for extra cooling relief.

Beaded silicone ring free of BPA, PVC and phthalates

The teether ring uses beaded silicone that is free from BPA, PVC and phthalates, offering a safer surface for chewing. The entire plush is machine washable inside a mesh bag on a cold gentle cycle and should be air dried, making routine cleaning straightforward.

Questions about this item

Does the rattle need batteries or any external power source to work?

No, the rattle works purely by shaking; the internal rattle and silicone teether ring operate without batteries or any power connection.

Can the 6-inch Dancing Dachshund be safely used alongside older plush toys that are not machine washable?

Yes, it can be played with other toys, but only this dachshund should go in a mesh bag on a cold gentle cycle; air-dry it separately to avoid damaging non-washable items.

How can I confirm the silicone teether ring is free of BPA, PVC and phthalates after I receive it?

The packaging and sewn-in label state "BPA, PVC and Phthalate free"; the silicone ring feels smooth and odourless, matching the safety standard the toy is built to meet.
