Taggies Original Blanket

The Taggies Original Blanket is a 12 x 12 inch sensory comforter designed for babies. It features a soft jersey fabric top with a custom fawn print and a luxurious rose pink fabric reverse. The blanket is lightly filled with puffy fluff for a cozy feel and includes sewn-in satin loop tags for tactile exploration. It serves as a soothing nursery accessory and baby shower gift.

Upgrade from basic swaddles

This blanket replaces a standard flat swaddle or receiving blanket by adding interactive satin loop tags that babies love to grasp and rub. The jump is worth it when a caregiver wants a single item that provides both warmth and sensory stimulation. The sewn-in tags encourage fine motor development and self-soothing during rest or play. It combines comfort and engagement in one machine-washable piece.

Sensory play and comfort capacity

The compact 12-inch square size comfortably handles stroller rides, car seat trips, and cuddle time at home. The lightweight design and puffy fluff filling offer enough warmth for indoor use without overheating. It runs out as a primary cover for older toddlers or for cold outdoor conditions requiring heavier insulation. The loop tags remain securely sewn through repeated gentle machine washes.

Questions about this item

How large is the blanket so I know if it fits in my nappy bag?

The blanket measures 12 x 12 inches square, a compact size that slips easily into most changing bags or pram pockets.

What is the correct way to wash the blanket without damaging the satin loop tags?

Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle and air dry; avoid tumble heat which can melt or distort the ribbon loops.

Will the puffy fluff filling stay evenly distributed after repeated washing?

Light filling is quilted in place so it resists clumping; gentle cycles and air drying keep the loft consistent over time.
