Soothing sensory blanket

The Mary Meyer Taggies Original Blanket is a 12 x 12 inch square designed for newborns and infants who seek tactile comfort. It features a soft jersey top with a custom fish print and a luxurious teal reverse side. Lightly filled with puffy fluff, it provides a cozy feel for everyday soothing.

Looped ribbon tags for exploration

Eight satin loop tags are sewn around the edges to give babies a safe, engaging sensory experience. The ribbons encourage grasping, rubbing and peekaboo play that supports early motor development. The blanket handles gentle daily use and machine washing on a cold, gentle cycle with air drying.

Safety-focused construction

Materials meet or exceed US safety requirements for infant products, making it a reliable choice for parents and gift-givers. The design lacks electronic parts, sound modules or detachable pieces that could pose a choking hazard. It is not suited for older children who want larger play blankets or interactive toys with lights and sounds.
