Circuit Breaker Finder for 220 V Mains
The MASTECH MS5902 locates the correct breaker or fuse on a 220 V AC circuit without trial and error. It pairs a transmitter that plugs into an outlet with a receiver that scans the panel. Electricians and DIY users can identify the protective device quickly and safely.
Transmitter and Receiver Work Together
The transmitter injects a traceable signal into the socket while the receiver beeps and switches its LED from red to green only at the matching breaker. A socket adapter is required for light fixtures and must be purchased separately. The kit also checks socket wiring condition at the outlet.
Verify Mains Voltage and Panel Access Before Buying
This unit operates on 220 V AC only; the 110 V variant is a different model. Confirm the installation is within the 0 to 50 °C operating range and that the breaker panel is accessible for the receiver scan. CAT II 600 V rating covers standard distribution circuits.

Questions about this item
Will the transmitter or receiver need batteries replaced after long use?
The transmitter plugs into a live 220 V AC socket so it draws power directly from the circuit, while the receiver is battery powered and will need fresh cells when its LED or beeper weakens.
What stops the finder from working on a hot summer day in an attic?
The specified operating range tops out at 50 °C, so sustained ambient heat above that limit will halt reliable operation before any other factor.
How much heat or noise does the receiver produce when scanning a panel all day?
The receiver is a handheld scanner with no fan or moving parts; it stays silent and generates only negligible warmth from its own electronics.
