VuQuest Fixed Mount Barcode Scanner

The Master VuQuest 3320G-4USB-0 is a fixed-mount scanner designed for hands-free reading of 1D and 2D barcodes. It connects via USB for simple integration into kiosks, point-of-sale systems, or automated workflows. The unit ships new and includes the necessary USB cable for immediate setup. It suits operations that need a stationary scan station rather than a handheld device.

USB Connectivity and Scan Capability

The scanner reads both linear and two-dimensional symbologies from a fixed position, removing the need for operator aiming. USB power and data simplify cabling in embedded installations. It is not suited for mobile scanning tasks or environments requiring a long-range imager. Users needing wireless freedom or a handheld form factor should consider alternative form factors.

Questions about this item

Will the 3320 scanner read barcodes presented by an older POS terminal that only sends USB HID signals?

The 3320 connects via USB and operates as a standard HID device, so an older terminal that accepts USB keyboard input will recognise it without extra drivers.

How can I confirm the 3320 is scanning 1D and 2D codes correctly after mounting it?

Scan the test symbols included in the quick-start guide; a successful decode produces a single beep and the data appears instantly in any open text field.
